Fairly sure there were some last year. We've pretty much always risked it and locked them away in our tents though. =/

Didnt see any there last year.... We are driving so can lock ours up. Your welcome to leave in our car if you want. We are arriving on Monday afternoon.

I would say trying to pitch your tent under the tree line if u can. It gets really really hot. Other wise what Carrie said is spot on.

You would have to get there early to get in the wood area - not much room down there either... Tents squashed inbetween trees etc.. Looks alot of fun when you walk thru it on the way to the arena tho.

They have a camping area next to the arena that is always busy and looks the more lively of the campsites ---then the fields behind that nearer to the main road are less rowdy.... The campsites are still relatively quiet compared to other European festivals and UK ones.

Sounds good to me :) As this is our first time we're not sure where te best place to camp would be -  Do people camp in the woods or the open field??
